Packing for Bali

Today we checked out of the Carlton hotel and are staying the night with Andrew!
We are leaving tomorrow early for our next adventure!
After packing and unpacking we decided to have lunch with Andrew then go to China Town.

hot platters and the more you toss the food around while

it cooks! It was so yummy!

China Town was hot but great fun!

Dinner was just what the doctor ordered, Singapore style!

so sorry we have had no internet! for the last week of our trip.  Having the time of our life! will blog when we get back to the states!  Pictures are beautiful and Andrew has been the best travel guide ever!!!  We miss home but would stay longer if we could!

Hi everyone, sorry it's been a little bit, we were traveling and getting settled in Bali!
Our flight was great! Bali airport was very busy this is the busy season :( But we made it
to our Amazing villa that Andrew found, and we were in love! we have our own pool!  Pictures
will follow.  We spent our first day getting to know the city and then to Potato Head beach club

Pool day? not so fast!

Today didn't start out the way we planned. I had been fighting a cold for the last couple of days but today,
there was no doubt it was more than a cold, ugh.  Andrew set up a doctor appointment for me, an hour later I have strep and 101 degree fever.
Back to bed? no way, off to the pool! no sun, but R & R by the pool was perfect! We had big plans tonight at the zoo for the night safari!

What to do on a rainy day in Singapore

After 3 blocks of walking in the rain, looking for a place to have breakfast, keep in mind we were

planning on spending a nice quiet day by the pool so we were dressed

for the pool!  We were starving and needing coffee!  We stumbled upon

a quaint little cafe minutes from our hotel!

after touring the beautiful museum we stoped at this Italian

cafe and had the best pizza and pasta! Then back to the

hotel for a change of clothes and off to dinner and drinks

with Andrew at the KU DE TA my most favorite sight so far!

here come the tourists again!

thing was just walking along and Katie, who was taking pictures came to close for comfort about triped over him!!!

went to the coolest place tucked away from the city had

the best burger!  company was fun as well!

On our own in Singapore

Monday Katie and I moved over to the Carlton hotel.  We got setteled and ventured out onto the streets of Singapore! After a short subway ride we were at Andrew's office! After we had breakfast together then up stairs to meet the office family!
Everyone was so nice and friendly!  Thank you for the warm welcome!
Off we went shopping, nails and more! we walked till we dropped! Up and down Orchard road endless shoping malls, each one connecting to another one!
That night we went to dinner with Andrew and Brent one of Andrew's co workers and friend!
We had the best dumplings ever, they melted in your mouth!  Then it was off to more walking and
sight seeing.
